Grocery Outlet is a grocery store chain on the west coast. They buy surplus inventory, product overruns, or items that have had packaging changes and sell them at deep discounts. For this campaign we would write fairly straight forward scripts and once approved go into the studio, bring in the voice talent, and write the songs. Once we had the basic track we would bring in musicians to fill it out. It was all very spontaneous and a lot of fun. And the puppets were a ton of fun to work with, too. I still keep in touch with a couple of them.
